Barry is one of Canada's most talented, experienced, and prolific stage managers.
He has worked on productions across Canada - most recently, Spider’s Web (Theatre Aquarius) and The Drawer Boy (Festival Players) – while others include Macbeth in Action (Shakespeare in Action); Les Misérables (Theatre Smith-Gilmour); John Ware Reimagined (Workshop West); Hamlet, Piaf, A Delicate Balance (Theatre Calgary); Oh What a Lovely War! (Citadel Theatre); Sexy Laundry, Trafford Tanzi, farewel, Mary’s Wedding, Marion Bridge, Possible Worlds, Amadeus (Magnus Theatre); The Woman in Black, The Mystery of Irma Vep and the premieres of both Do Not Disturb and Fair Play (Theatre Collingwood); Darling of the Day, This Hotel, Gotcha, Stop the World – I Want to Get Off! (Talk is Free Theatre); Walk Me to the Corner (Harold Green Jewish Theatre); Doubt (TNB) and The Fly Fisher’s Companion (Neptune Theatre). He also spent five years in the UK, ‘doing the provinces’, a tour of She Stoops to Conquer to Pakistan, and was the Co-Founding Director to Theatresports London.
Additionally, Barry has written and narrated for CBC Radio, appeared on the Comedy Network's The Jon Dore Show and CBC’s This is Wonderland.
